Ngunguru ford Lodge is a boutique getaway, for the ultimate relaxing weekend away.

We are a quintessential holiday home situated in a rural setting, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful bush. Full of country garden charm you can enjoy fresh, home made produce and re-connect with nature in this modern, refurbished Lodge.

Set in 35 acres of land you can enjoy a home away from home feel, with veggie patches, farm animals, bush walks, duck ponds and much more.

The newly renovated Lodge consists of open plan dining and living which flows out onto a deck area, and being north facing gets plenty of sunshine. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a second toilet mean you can be completely self sufficient.

Stay and relax or venture further afield to Ngunguru Estuary and beach - 20 mins away or visit the stunning Tutukaka coastline - 30 mins away. Tutukaka (the second most beautiful coastline in the WORLD as voted by the National Geographic!) features some of the most stunning beaches and bays in the North, safe for swimming with fantastic fishing, diving, shell fish and spectacular coastal walks. At the marina you can charter a fishing trip or take a dive trip to the Poor Knights Marine reserve.(Jacques Cousteau rated the area as one of the top ten dives in the world)

We are located half an hour East of Whangarei and 1 hour South of the Bay of Islands.
