Ngataringa Tennis Club is the home of tennis in the village of Devonport, on Auckland’s North Shore. Established in 1927, Ngataringa nestles in a picturesque corner of Stanley Bay Park with a playground alongside and a beach across the road.
The club has five outdoor courts with synthetic grass, lighting for night play, and offers a range of social and competitive play for all ages and play levels.
Weekly club events include social mixed doubles for men and women on Wednesday mornings and Wednesday evenings, hard hitters’ tennis for men and women on Monday evenings, and social Sunday morning tennis in winter. There are also interclub matches for adults and children across the North Shore summer and winter.
Coaching is a major draw-card at Ngataringa. The Tennis Plus NZ group is based here and is contracted to the club to offer coaching at all levels and for all ages from children to veterans, for groups and individuals.
