The Ngarauawahia Cemetery is split into two locations: Ngaruawahia Old Cemetery and Jackson Street Cemetery. They are separated by the railroad tracks.nnThe Old Ngaruawahia Cemetery is actually accessed from Puke I Ahua Lane the entrance faces the lane, not Great South Road. There doesn’t appear to be an entrance directly from Great South Road. It is poorly signposted. No parking at the Old cemetery, although you could park in Puke I Ahua Lane. The Waikato District Council refers to this cemetery as Ngaurawahia Old Cemetery.nnIf you are wanting to go the new Lawn cemetery, or to the new RSA cemetery, the entrance for this is on Jackson Street. You cannot access this side of the cemetery from the old cemetery – although technically you could walk across the train tracks this would not be recommended! The new lawn cemetery entrance is on Jackson Street, and there is parking there. The Waikato District Council cemetery location database refers to this as Jackson Street Cemetery.
