About

High Quality Early Childhood Education

Story

We plan experiences which extend children’s thinking, learning skills, dispositions and working theories and encourage children to respect themselves, others and the environment. We are committed to providing a bi-cultural curriculum which is supported by a visiting kaiako. We aim to promote the wonder of learning by modeling enthusiasm, excitement and a sense of fun. We place high value on family/whanau involvement.

Please provide your child with a nutritious morning tea, lunch (for older session) and a drink of water in a clearly named container. Water is readily available for children to access themselves throughout the day. Due to the number of children with food allergies we ask that your child does not bring any of the following foods: any nuts (including peanut butter, nutella, pesto and muesli bars containing nuts); whole eggs (including quiche or egg sandwiches).
For more information please discuss with the teachers or refer to our food policy.

Along with engaging with us about your child’s learning we invite you to become involved in our kindergarten community. You are welcome to stay during our sessions and spend time with the children. There is always tea and coffee available so feel free to help yourself. There is a roster for parents to help with tasks to support the programme such as preparing resources. Along with this we welcome your ideas and feedback.
