A network of people living and working in Mangere who meet, share and connect on the last Thursday, of every 2nd month in the Mangere Community Law Centre.
Nga Manga was formed in late 1991, as a forum for community workers in Mangere to connect to each other. It was named Nga Manga O Mangere as a reflection of the many branches of Mangere and as a recognition of the multi-cultural make-up of the area. Nga Manga O Mangere gives voice equally to anyone working and living in Mangere. It is not an organisation but a forum for groups to connect and be visible. The power of Nga Manga O Mangere is the speaking out of many voices.
