Dementia is a complex condition, where families often struggle to understand the associated challenges.
Often the small changes we make in our approach to a family member with dementia can make a big difference in avoiding communication difficulties or frustrations. Our goal is to build good communication and professional relationships with all those involved in this next step in life. We have extensive training and nursing experience working with people and their families walking the pathway of dementia. We understand the confusion, grieving and often associated guilt families go through when making the tough decision to place a loved one in residential care, and at times the divisions this accompanies, sometimes through misunderstood perceptions.
