Our experience with gold dealing in person was so far not a positive one. However, this business made the difference. John has made us welcome, was patient, answered all of our questions in a jovial, yet very professional manner. We were impressed with the clean, tidy and welcoming premise as well, compared to two other gold dealers we saw. The dealing process was extremely smooth and very customer friendly, all possible on the same day. Will recommend to anyone wanting to deal with gold or silver. It also shows that this has been an efficiently run family business for many years.

If you are wanting to sell gold this is the place! I shopped around before hand and found this business to have the best price out there. Their website shows you the gold prices so you already know before you arrive. The gentleman there was very friendly, helpful and patient! Service is good, but be aware these people record all phone calls without informing you. Won’t be using them again because of this.

Wow.. My first experience buying precious metals and the team were fantastic. The website is super easy to navigate. The communication from the team was amazing.  I had asked a question via email and had a call the next day to not only answer my question but also managed to find me the product I was after, process it and have it delivered THAT DAY with my other order which saved me another delivery charge. When you are spending considerable amounts of money online you want confidence with the company your dealing with. NZ Gold Merchants are all that plus more. I’ve been very pleased with the company as there the fastest delivery, excellent prices and service provided is by far better than others.

Shipping was quite slow compared to other traders. Ordered 6 Silver coins. Email was never replied. Sent by signature required courier but never asked for signature but the parcel was thrown in the garden maybe this is courier's problem. One of the coin - 2020 Krugerrand has few dents - looks like another coin on top pressed hard with weight on this particular coin. As a trader, I expect they should have inspected each coin to be shipped. Expected each coin to come within the capsule but half of them did not come in capsule - no explanation in their website how these coins will come. Not too sure if this damaged coin carries the same value with non-damaged ones.

We have had a great experience dealing with NZ Gold Merchants. John was very helpful, nothing seemed a bother even though he was extremely busy, and he took time to explain everything and answered all of our questions. Overall a really fantastic service, very clear communication & fast processing. It's nice to deal with what appears to be, a happy and genuine team, from the receptionists and admin, to sales. We will surely deal with them in the future, and fully recommended. Thanks!
