New Zealand Deerstalkers' Association | Protecting your rights to enjoy recreational hunting, bushcraft, and shooting for over 80 years.

Story

The fundamental aim of the association is to ensure that the organisation and management of recreational hunting in New Zealand is carried out by hunters.

We are the National body representing and speaking for recreational hunters.

We believe that the organisation and management of recreational hunting in New Zealand should be carried out by sportsmen and sportswomen.

We oppose commercial exploitation of the wildlife and natural resources of New Zealand, wherever and whenever such action is deemed to jeopardise, restrict or conflict with the public usage thereof, or to be contrary to sound conservation practice.

We strive to foster interest in native flora and fauna and the conservation of the same.

Mission

To retain, enhance and create opportunities for the enjoyment of legitimate recreational hunting and the sport of shooting, for the members of the Association.
