Awesome little store. Awesome service by the produce team memeber. Found everything we wanted. Check operator, was clean, tidy, and friendly. It would have been better though if she focused on us as her customers instead of the supervisor 2 checkouts away from us.
We came into store this afternoon. I realise that it was a very busy day. I know after working in a new world for over 30 years.nHowever.nWe were standing in a queue and a staff member on checkout came and made a big scene about. “ oh you are locals. Locals privilege “nNot a nice feeling when standing in a line waiting.nWe are from Far North Area. We don’t treat tourists like this.nWe are very Foodstuff loyal customers. But don’t aduse it. Doesn’t matter who. Treat everyone the same. Money is money.
Staff are super Rude litterally got yelled at for not being in the right que apparently, definitely can tell they don't like people that aren't local. Such a shame as everywhere else in Turangi the people are so friendly.
Arrived yesterday after 40hr travel from Scotland, what a wonderful store full of friendly, helpful staff. If the fishing is as good as your Pizza we’re in for a treat. Thanks so much
Older lady is so lovely calling customers terms of endearment! She is so onto it running the self service checkouts!!
