Found place very clean and staff very helpful when you found one. Service at counter was fantastic with smiley jovial staff and only to willing to help you with direction and saw them helping elderly to their car.
Great store plenty of variationin products and brands, is still better than the brand new store in taumarunui, te kuiti has space for 2x trolleyz In the isles plus the bakery / deli is a great one for a small new world

We had a bizarre experience at this new world. When checking out one alcoholic cider with our groceries, someone who I presume was a supervisor/manager was called over this seemed to be an automatic system at NewWorld for alcoholic beverages. We are a married couple in our 30s from Canada. The manager demanded to see both of our passports… which were locked away in the car. So it became a whole prolonged affair while I paid for just the food and my spouse went to retrieve the passports. I don’t fault them for the automatic system, or the manager for being a poor judge of age… but the manager snarkily told us that we need to carry our passports everywhere because we will be asked for them a lot/ everywhere. We were not asked for our ID anywhere else during our 2 week stay, including other new worlds. I actually got the impression she realized we were well over 25 during the ordeal, but decided to double down by claiming we would be asked for them a lot. Very strange. The store was also not well stocked and was a bit dirty, comparative to other new worlds. Extra star because the original cashier friendly.
1 star for good customer service and speedy checkout operator. Otherwise an absolute let down!! Very low stock everytime I've been there.
Modern regional supermarket with all the familiar product and comforts. Space was clean, staff were friendly and prices seemed to be the same as the city.
Nice clean shop with friendly staff. One staff member, a young girl looking after the express checkout, was too busy talking with staff to help a customer, telling him to wait. Not in a very friendly manner either. She stood writing something for a good 5 minutes served 2 staff members first then without saying anything to the customer moved across his space to fix the issue. This happened 4 times without a word from the young staff member. Generally staff are very empathetic when customers are having issues. This girl needs to take lessons from the older staff members
Always clean , well stocked , and well staffed. Love New World TK heaps. They also have lovely Brand new baby trolleys which i looooove.
When I visit Te Kuiti I find a reason to shop in New World. The store is bright, well laid out, clean, tidy and the staff are so welcoming. Customer service is always top notch. Highly recommended.
I wasn't impressed at all today, the line waiting to be served was right down the Isle with the butter etc, the poor girl who served me seemed stressed and unhappy. What's happened? This has never happened to me before. We used to have someone putting the groceries through and someone packing them awesome friendly staff. Today, I had to pack my own into the trolley
