Poor customer service, some staff are unfriendly. The store lacks options and it's very cramped getting around. Upon my visit I was looking for choc chips and found a cockroach instead. Told the lady minding the counters she advised she would get in touch with the owner. Not sure what happens but I just want to leave this here. Now I know pest are a problem everywhere but still it almost crawled on me lol and yes I left the choc chips on the ground
Need to stock more bulk items, rather than smaller versions of some pantry foods......and have more brands on shelves instead of just their own
Love New World and got 6c off every litre of petrol I bought
Yeah it's a cool local grocer. Always had good service, even when I've been hitting the checkout at only one minute until closing. Other times they have been quick to open an additional checkout if they are free to help you. Heaps of parking. They are the best grocer in Te Kawhauta. Believe me.
Always a great place to shop. Staff are friendly, helpful. A variety of groceries to choose from. UPDATING:nWould like to thank the wonderful morning staff of the 12/10/24. The young man and Lovely Lady staff member who assisted with fresh kiwi fruit and my list of grocery items I needed but was unable to retrieve myself because I had just undergone major surgery for cancer. Both myself and partner are elderly residents in Te Kauwhata. Normally I do our grocery shopping but because I had only just been discharged from Hospital could not drive nor walk so my partner took my list for items I needed to Te Kauwhata New World. The young man who went out of his way to get the Kiwi Fruit on my list, then handed my list to a female staff member, whom then completed adding the rest of the items on my list. I would like to say Thank you very much. My partner came home and told me of your kind services in assisting him with my grocery list. We are both very appreciative of your help and once I am able too I will definitely visit the store to thank you both personally. Thank you New World Te Kauwhata and the staff team members employed there.
