Great prices, nice layout, lots of good premade sandwiches!
Just sad. You'd think in one of the premier fruit/veg growing regions of NZ that New World would have great offerings. Time and again the fruit is bland, rotten, frozen, and/or tasteless. Apricots, cherries, plums, watermelons, and peaches that have no flavor. The veggies seem like they've been stored somewhere for weeks. They must get their produce from a warehouse in Christchurch where it's been picked long ago and stored. There's an opportunity here for someone to come into this town with fresh produce.
A good well stocked supermarket. Quite busy, very clean. Carpark is a bit small. Can't believe ì spent nearly $200 here tho.
A conveniently located supermarket in the centre of Wanaka. Has a great selection of fresh produce, meats, healthcare products and more. Easily accessible on-premise parking as well. Great for both locals and tourists!
A shout out for exceptional customer service.nEden served us twice. 1st she was most helpful directing us to the raw chicken. 2ndly we were served by Eden at the checkout. She was absolutely genuine in the questions she was asking us about what we were cooking for dinner. Customer service at it's best!!
