I usually went after dinner when it wasn't busy. The night staff were really kind and helpful! I suggest you use a trolley as there are no baskets.
Lots of stock inc gluten free, and helpful friendly staff.
Disorganised and Hard to Navigate.nnThis is the only supermarket in Ohakune, but it is quite disappointing. The store feels a bit dirty and desperately needs a clean-up and reorganization.nThe biggest issue is finding items. Instead of hanging above the aisles, the signs are placed too low, making it very difficult to see where things are. The layout is messy, and the refrigerators are scattered all over the place. There is also not enough room to move around easily with a shopping trolley.nCompared to other small-town rural supermarkets, like Four Square, this is the worst store I have been to. They really need to rearrange the shop layout, label the sections clearly, and make the store neat and presentable.
Just moved to the area... staff are really friendly and helpful. It is also great discounts if you have the club+ card
