I visited here to get a specific product on special and got what I wanted. Store is generally clean and tidy, though I find the layout unusual. Prices are not as competitive as those at other supermarkets. Specials most often apply only to cardholding customers. Staff are generally helpful.
Horrible layout but very convenient! Can’t wait for the new store to be built.
This is quite small and crowded as New World's go. Parking is difficult. But I go for higher quality goods and friendlier staff. I get both here.
Very hit and miss with this store and it’s my local New World .nnVery outdated exterior and interior. Although the shop is always free from mess or clutter and is very clean. The range of products on offer especially in the bakery department could vastly be improved. Also prices have crept up on virtually everything at this shop to at some points ridiculous levels such as Pam’s frozen mashed potatoes 1kg which had a $2 + dollar hike literally overnight!nnIf it’s not on sale it’s unaffordable for most folk. Also end of the day “reduced to clear” discounts are abysmal, literally a few cents off. If I were the store manager I would halve the price of these to clear them out reducing stock shrinkage and wastagennI’m hearing through the grapevine that this store might be in for a massive renovation or rebuild. I hope this is true! Stoke is getting busier by the day and the people need a decent, affordable supermarket that cares about the locals!nnFinally ALWAYS check your receipts especially on sale items. I’ve caught NW out several times attempting to charge me full price for something I thought was on sale. On two occasions so far. Pam’s 20 ibuprofen and Magnum 4 pack ice creams.nnRead the deals, read the store signage, check the cash register and you’ll be fine!
It's decent. The layout is a bit funny making it harder to find things but staff are helpful, good range and good hot food range. Prices could be lower tbh but less expensive than Countdown. Far better than the nearby countdown
