I am finding that some checkout operators do not bother to say a simple hello.nThis morning I had to pack my own bag. It was open ready for her to drop the items in. No she just slid them through and around my bagnAlthough I only spent $60 today, I believe it makes me eligible for a calendar. The lady in front spent $40 and got asked if she wanted one. I was not asked and never got a calendar.nI have returned to N W lately because it used to have friendly service. Some operators are great and that is much appreciated.nI'm am learning to work out which aisle to go through just to get some validation for shopping at your store.nPerhaps this is a way of encouraging self service.nPerhaps I just need to build a bridge.nEither way often it's my only daily outing and poor service does not work well.nSunday 21st December Still no acknowledgement when going through checkout.
It is a large store having all I need.nGood layout. Knew where to find items.nFun and helpful staff.nPlenty of parking.nIt has lots of alcohol choices.nGood prices.
The store itself seemed in disarray no real flow to it, having to go back because things were missed and not in a logical place but... Very tidy and clean. The prices Oh my word ...I know that the cost of living is on the rise but far out meat prices wow it's really expensive here and most supermarkets really
Deli ladies are wonderful, so polite and always have a smile. However, an older checkout operator could be a lot more friendly. It never hurts to smile and engage in a little conversation. In this type of work you need to leave your bad days at the door. I was also surprised that Rangiora New World don't accept Gold Card. All other New Worlds I have visited accept it.
Bought 3 bottles of earthwork shiraz for $14.99 each as they were for the last few weeks....just grabbed them as I do for the last few weeks and once at home realized they were earthwork cabernet sauvignon.....love my shiraz very disappointed....be careful when grabbing your wine or poor stacking...
