Redeeming feature is the freindly and helpful staff. New owners have meant price increases and new products. These owners need some advice about how to exist in a smaller community. Frequently empty shelves, some good weekly specials but not enough to offset the price increases. Meat quality and weights have gone down but prices have increased. Price fluctuations do not reflect the market trend. Will spend the extra petrol and shop at Woolworths in Huntly or Te Rapa. Disappointed
10.24AM .Just been shopping at New World Ngaruawahia with my wife. at checkouts the operator Michael R was on his cell phone. when my wife tried to speak to him regarding a product we purchased he ignored her completely, she asked again and he said grumpily I SAID NO!.nHe had a terrible attitude toward us, my wife asked him to be a bit more polite he told her he didn't have to be. it went down hill from there on he seemed so belligerent toward us.nWe felt like leaving our shopping and walking out.nAs we live in Huntly we usually shop between Ngaruawahia and New World TK. Its TK from now on.
Great prices if you got a New world membership card..these guys have most times had well stocked shelves and staff are very pleasant and friendly!

It is such a pleasure to enter NewWorld at Ngaruawahia.nIt has a lovely vibe but mostly thenstaff are very happy and remember your name,it's like they care.
