Mum and I came in just before and we asked to put our trolley with two seperate payments on hold so we could join the club card. We are so appreciative you guys were patient. I can’t recommend Alex at New World highly enough! She was friendly, approachable, and really listened to exactly what we wanted for our thank-you cake for the staff at Mount Maunganui College. My pun was too large to fit on the cake, so I had it printed on an edible icing sheet and Alex did a fantastic job incorporating it into the design. She also suggested a strawberry filling with the white sponge, which perfectly complemented the school colours. The cake looked great, and I'm sure it tasted delicious, and went down a treat with the staff. If you need any baking, Alex is the one to see!
Lovely supermarket! I have ordered cakes with Alex from NW bakery on many occasions. They have been absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend to everyone. Alex is very talented and she always go above and beyond to help you find the perfect cake to celebrate.
Exceptionally lovely team and awesome product range and quality. Very competitive prices too, way better than Woolworths and often on a par with Pak’n’save.
Great supermarket. Whilst it's compact, it has everything you need. Close to central Mt Maunganui. Carpark is tight underground but easy access to store with ramp or stairs. Staff are awesome and the owner Allen is really nice
