Last week I got caught out with a downpour after shopping, the lovely young man who does the trolleys came over with an umbrella and sheltered me as I went to my car and loaded the groceries, what an absolute gem ! Also, today the hot cross buns looked very inviting so i picked up a couple of packets, just had one for lunch and it had more flavor and fruit than before, really nice , thankyou bakers.
Great place to do your shopping.nThe girl at the self checkout today needs to chill out and stop with the rudeness. Telling me to take my trolley somewhere else, I only had six items. Funny that I have stitches in my arm from surgery and using a trolley to carry my items. Why would I have to take my trolley elsewhere, there is heaps of room.nShe needs talking too! Power tripping!
Quick and easy shop. Staff were friendly and helpful when I had issues at the checkout. The store itself has a wide variety of products and brands. I also love how much room are down each isle. Makes squeezing past people such a simpler task. There were quite a number of people there when I went in but the lines at the checkouts flowed quickly. You love to see it.
This has to be THE best New World in the Kapiti/Horowhenua region. From being beautifully laid out with generously sized aisles, and a huge selection of groceries available to those with special needs, it is just fabulous. I noticed yesterday that there is even a hot foods station where they were serving chips and I think chicken. The lunch items on offer - filled rolls, sushi, etc., were already vast, but this new I'm guessing? offering is no doubt the cherry on top for many. Also, the pricing across the store appears to be a lot more affordable when compared to New Worlds in Kapiti.
Great supermarket with lots of vegan options, including vegan chocolates! The produce section was well stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables. The bakery goods were marked and fresh. All the staff interactions were pleasant and the store was clean. The only recommendation I have is to continue stocking more and more plant-based options for the food revolution is shifting to healthier non-animal based products!
