Unfortunately I shop Woolworths on the weekends as new world isles are full of people stocking shelves every weekend and it is very difficult to get around efficiently. The stars I have given are solely for the woman with multi coloured hair. Absolutely wonderful service and always happy and smiley.
Love the butchery, fish bar, deli bar and bakery here. Great pork sausages made in house, fresh fish, nice fresh salads and extra deli quiche and pies. Love the ciabatta and brioche rolls and the mega grain loaf.
Last week when I visited this store the prices of value cheese slices was $5.39 now it's $6.99& the price of value margarine was $1.99 and now is $2.39 it's pathetic prices the supermarket needs to reduce there items so people on low budgets can go in and buy the essentials item they need..: . I used to purchase the beef cutoffs and one day I went in there their was a couple of people who complained because I brought the cheapest ones and they missed out come on people the meats out there for everyone not just me or them .
What a lovely New World. Staff are friendly happy and so willing to help. Highly recommend Lee in the seafood department who is so knowledgeable about the seafood, always happy to see you and to know you by name. Thank you.
The premises are spotless, well organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, I notice the Super Saver and Club Deals do not have unit prices on them. Is that even legal? On the rest of the items the unit price is almost illegibly small and looks like it's been done with a dot printer possibly to save ink but also makes it harder to read. For items on the bottom shelf where cheaper items tend to be you almost have to lie down on the floor to read the unit price. This is definitely not user friendly especially for older people with deteriorating eyesight and less agility.nI like that it's NZ owned I think.
