Literally the worst train station in Auckland. So unsafe, your chances of running into creeps is high!! Even the security guards are scared and they stand in a corner and pretend they don't exist. The bus drivers will see passengers that are swearing and appear dangerous and not stop at the station. There is a glass waiting room and that area gives you the feeling of safety but it is also unsafe. There are people in there who will start following you after seeing you there. There was even a bus that crashed into it at a 90 degree angle so you know that was intentional. Also don't even get me started on the bathrooms. The bathrooms is what I would imagine prison bathrooms to be like and maybe it is even worse than that. It's simply not usable. There's unknown slush coated over the ground at a 2 cm depth. The toilet itself is disgusting. The whole bathroom is so disgusting, going in there is self inflicted torture. I wouldn't wish going to this station everyday even onto my worst enemy. And if you are a woman, avoid this place at all costs or at least don't spend time there waiting for anything because that increases your exposure to creeps.
When I used the public toilets here, they were disgusting! The floors were wet and slippery not safe and there was a terrible smell as if someone had peed all over everywhere and everything in the toilet..it was horrible. I had to use it because I was desperate but never again.
Central to everything easy to catch a train if you're going into city or going into Henderson it's very easy to catch usually I would ride down to new Lynn on my electric bike catch a ride into the city and use my bike wherever I went very easy to get the elevator wherever I want to go I can't wait till they open the CityLink
Its fine , little in convenient for how I have to go a little long way when I need to charge in more money eg: $20+
useable, not fulfilling the definition of hygiene however.
