Either love it or hate it, it's either hot and calm or blowing your legs off with that easterly. Parking close by, but didn't leave valuables in car. Great place to get out over the sea, the waves...yes best wharf, but birds, fishing smells and that wind, why??? . My kids love it, watching the waves, seagulls and smell....yup blows cobwebs - and the spiders - away! . Bathrooms in the library which is a great place to also sit and watch....lol.
I was surprised at how big it looks. Looks new clean wide with an impressive view. It was said there was 3 fishers fishing at a no fishing on Sunday. Good playground, library,and although we were out of season there is a small pool there.
Came here in mid January recently.nIt was a bright sunny day and many people were fishing and swimming.nAnd the local library is also here.nGood that the town has these facilities for the residents.
Impressive piers to have a walk or fishing! It offers great views for the surroundings and good to see different types of seagulls or alike.
Beautiful pier for a perfect morning walk - just be aware of some fishermen who may not follow rules particular by fishing in the no fishing zones.
