Story

Hey guys my name is Abe. Im 23 and been in the hospitality industry since i was 16, moved to Matakana in 2013 and brought 10acres(aprox 4.2hectares)with the dream to turn it into a place where people can come and stay or live and enjoy nature, work on the land and meet other like minded people. Thus under the Puriri Trees Neverland has started, where all lost boys and girls are welcome. Unfortunately there is a lot of work to be done to tidy up the property. Paths to be made through the 8 acres of mature native bush, clearings and meditation spaces to be developed, chickens to be cared for, fruit to pick, gardens to weed and water, treehouses to be built, a nice spot to erect half a dozen teepees and much more. So i signed up to http://www.helpx.net/nz/ and thought i might as well create a Facebook page to give you all a place to see whats going on and maybe even convince some of you to come stay. Dont worry we wont teat you like Hook treats Smee, we also like to to have BBQs and i cant escape the hospitality that pulses through me so Im planning a party, once every 2 months(just as a starting point) as a chance to get together with friends, family, the guy from next door and the really nice hitchhiker you picked up and show them the magic of Neverland. Housekeeping...
Unfortunately if you don't pull your weight I will ask you to move on.
Must have a moderate amount of fitness as a lot of the work is physical (however if you are an amazing cook/baker my partner would love a hand helping to prepare meals).
This is not a party house, alcohol is permitted but only in moderation and as long as it doesn't disrupt anyone else's life.
Smokers are ok. But know you will be asked at some stage to pick up butts (regardless if they are yours or not)
Lastly... Have Fun, because if you don't its not
