Nelson Intermediate School

This schools vibe is off, grey, dull and boring school, staff hardly look happy there’s no colour and fun, you don’t hear laughter in the office or see kids waiting to chat to their favourite teacher and principal which might I add I’ve never met or seen around the school. They like to sweep things under the rug and not deal with the wider issues that’s causing the immediate problem. No support for harassment or bullying and targeting individual students either the bully or the victim for retaliating. As a PB4L school there are plenty of unimpressed parents and students because this school doesn’t use their resources and training to nurture these kids into pre-teen/college, giving them tools and coping mechanisms to deal with bully’s and emotions they might not understand themselves. They are creating an unsafe and toxic learning environment. DO NOT send your child here.

Parents don't send your kid to this school. when drama happens teachers say *just ignore it* it never works bullying gets worse and teachers say the same thing. the school really needs to be done up.

Can I just say how genuinely bad this school was when I reported a bullying problem. I was told that they were come from a bad home and to ignore them. Let me say that its a bit hard to ignore harassment on a daily basis. This school and what I went through there is the reason that I still have mental problems to this day. Parents, do not enroll your kids here. If they have anything different about them, even if they have a gift of talent they are going to walk out a broken student. They would rather hold a good repuation then address their bullying problem.nI honestly would not care if the place burnt.nClowns.

Mr gully, the principal is so mean and has an ego so big it has stretch marks. Trust me, I go to this school and it is not nice, wouldn't be great for anyone who gas high anxiety levels, or is just really sensitive. It feels like prison and looks like it too, don't go here even if it is the closest school from where you live. I hope other people read this and realize that it is a failing school, and not worth attending. Anyway that was just my opinion. P.s tell your friends about this if you can.
