Such an amazing service. I accidently broke my laptop charger and it was going to cost over $100 for a new one. I went in today, and a lovely man who worked in the e-waste centre found me a compatible one, tested it out for me, and within a couple of minutes I had a charger that works perfect and was so cheap. We've bought heaps of other things from the centre too, such great bargains and they are so friendly in there :
Nelson Recycle Centre is a great example of what every town in NZ should have. The prices are just in the right zone to encourage people to buy and reuse items which would otherwise be dumped. The place is well organised and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful and fully responsive to any enquiries.
Dropped off an empty gas bottle today and inquired about hazardous sprays and the lady in the office where you pay was so helpful and pleasant.nShe gave good advice and was so pleasant to deal with.
On of the best junk shops in the country. There are two stores, on in the front which is more retail, one at the back which has larger items.
Open on Sundays bonus for visitors to town nHave abit of everything , some things are auctioned rather than instant sale .nGood shop .nLoved the video game option for children while shopping!
