We loved our visit! The meal was wonderful. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our waitress was from Peru and was the best! The chef came out and asked how our food was, made us all smile, told my children very sincerely that he cooked our food with love... He sure did!
The best Peruvian restaurant which is close to my home! I think not a lot of people know about this place maybe that’s why I’ve never seen bunch of people dining in during lunch time. My personal favorites: Chicha morada drink, tallarin saltado, lomo saltado, fried plantains, Yuka fries and I’m in love with their potato skin chips it’s so yummy and so thin so crunchy - delicious invention! There was only 1 appetizer which I didn’t like: grilled beef heart I think it was . Overall it’s a great place for big portion and the most important for delicious meals !!!
Amazing food!! I had a Chaufa De Pollo and my husband got a Lomo Saltado. We both ordered a fried egg as well a top of our dishes! Both were amazing, so full of flavor and color. I love the distinct taste of the food, it’s amazing. The Chaufa is fried rice similar to a Chinese fried rice but with more unique flavors. I ordered mine with chicken and extra egg. I crave this often and am so happy to find a place near us! The Lomo Saltado is a mix of steak, veggies, and fries served with rice. So delicious, the combination is great! There are several gluten free and vegetarian options here as well. Plenty of seating, good parking. The location is easy to find. We went on a Thursday night and were the only customers at the time. Our server was really sweet and made us feel welcome, our food was out in a timely manner, and everything was clean. We plan on returning soon!
Excellent food that never disappoints! You get very high quality food and plenty in portion sizes. We love coming here although only on occasion. Prices are on the higher end but you need to remind yourself that this is not a fast-casual affair. This food definitely has an upscale feel. The chef is incredible with flavors, cooking dishes just right, and using authentic ingredients. You won’t regret coming.
Papa a la Huancaina - really tasty Yucca Frita - Good Ceviche - felt precooked then put in the juice not great Quarter chicken plate - $8.00 good flavor on the chicken and moist inside Service slow, we only saw our server twice.
Great food! Kids loved the Papas Rellenas and the ice cream. Parents loved what the kids loved and also the Ceviche and Lomos Saltados Peruvian Style. All the flavors have a pop that will wake up your taste buds.
Favorite Peruvian Restaurant!! My husband lived in Peru for a short while so he is always on the lookout for good authentic Peruvian food. We have tried places all over Salt Lake and in southern utah, this place has been our favorite. The food is delicious and authentic. My son got the pollo a la braza from the kids menu and he loved it! Their kids menu is priced well and you get a decent amount of food. My family loves this place! We have tried the pollo a la braza, lomo saltado, tallarines verdes, canchitas and we’ve loved it all.
We had lunch and it was very good. I had the chicken and my friend had the seafood soup. I’m actually writing this because of the French fries or “steak fries”. I know we’re just talking about potato fries, but they were delicious and probably the best I’ve ever had! I would go back just for the fries! :
Great service and delicious food. We had yuccita cheese balls, papa rellenos, Shrimp soup, and The special pork sandwich with sweet potato. The sandwich was so good we ordered a second to go. Would not recommend the soup, because it was flavorless. Over all a wonderful dine in experience. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options
First red flag, I walked in and it was empty , they made us wait about 40 minutes and there was almost no chicken only 3 pieces left, and the pieces were dry and unseasoned. The fries had no salt , the seafood was nasty, never again and yet they charge for refills. Plus the food was expensive and they tip themselves. Till this day my stomach hurts, it’s been a good solid week.
