Wonderful place for family visit. Had glorious day. Staff so kind and friendly Next time we will do close Encounters!
The zoo is quite small so you can probably see everything within less than half a day. The best part of the zoo are the giraffes. The enclosure where the put their food allows you to come very close to them. Very enjoyable for the kids.
Always love the zoo. The talks are excellent and informative, the kids have a blast, and honestly us oldies enjoy learning a thing or two also!
Very cool zoo but no hippos! Plenty of other awesome animals though in good healthy enclosures. Very friendly helpful staff and good parking especially off peak. Takes at least half the day to see all the sights. Highly recommend.
Very lucky to be able to visit this sanctuary for beautiful vulnerable wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed the day wandering around this wonderful facility.

Truly a lovely place to go where you can enjoy leisure time with family or friends to share space with animals! The souvenir shop is an awesome place to seek for something special that worth of remembering the day. Good service too.

Wellington zoo is a wonderful place where animals are placed above profit. In all things the wildlife is made a priority and the staff make the experience just as good for the patrons as for the residents. Having been a zoo crew member for 3 years now, I can definitely recommend.
