A comprehensive and hands-on programme providing students with a solid grounding in both the practical day-to-day care and keeping of horses and a theoretical knowledge of horse management.
The programme covers:
- Equine care and equine health
- Equine industry skills and equine industry knowledge
- Equitation (including horse riding skills)
- Sporthorse stable assistant skills
Qualifications offered:
-National Certificate in Equine (Stable Procedures) Level 3
-National Equestrian Academy Preliminary Coach Level 3
-Opportunity to complete NCEA level 1 & 2
