A great Saturday market, the little sister to the larger one in Hastings on Sundays. Our favourite stalls are the bacon sandwich caravan, Yeast Coast try the Turkish Loaf and the cinnabons!, and Te Mata Figs. The stall selection changes often depending on the season, weather etc but there’s always something good to eat or buy.
4 stars but only because it,s small. The Bacon Sarnies are Outstanding!! along with the quality of the Black House Boutique winery wines. Well worth a sample OR TWO !! Other handmade/craft goods available at a convenient central location.
What a great market. I loved the paella that was there. Did not get to try it but it looked beautiful. Lots of people and everyone having a wonderful time together.
Cute little urban market with quality fresh local produce and artisan products set in Clive Square gardens in the heart of Napier City. Relaxed vibe - great music, ideal for brunch & coffee.
Small, as in about 10 tents. Yet if you want fruit and veg, honey and bread, tea or coffee or hot chocolate or milk and a few treats then I suggest you go. Oh and they are all local. I'm sure there's something for everyone... Wait, did I mention the bacon sammies?
Awesome day at the market. Just went for a stroll and ended up buying quite a few plants for the garden at a very reasonable price.
We enjoyed our time there, experiencing a range of different products, items and art that we have not seen anywhere else.
Fantastic atmosphere and fabulous fresh produce. I was especially impressed with the herbs & flower plants for sale. You do not have to buy a full punnet you can buy just one plant or make up a mixed basket of what you need. What a brilliant idea! Well worth a visit to this great Farmers Market right next to the beautiful Clive Square in Napier city centre.
Even has live music to go with warm bread & hot coffee - Young Enterprise groups from local secondary colleges were a creative feature weekend I went.
Love the farmers market, had the best figs stall ever, lots of variety of fresh food.
