Food was great. The place was busy when we arrived which always a good sign The business can definitely grow and even look for a bigger space. Bathrooms need a little attention. I know generally there is a shortage of hands due to COVID restrictions. All in all great restaurant.
Went there for lunch on the weekend, Loved the rice but they mixed up the spicyness though, i ordered it hot but they gave me mild instead. The kumara chips also tasted a bit stale and cold.
I ordered a burger, chips, and coleslaw. The burger bus was hardly toasted and very chewy, chips were undercooked and underseasoned, worst of all, the coleslaw looked and tasted like it had been sat in the fridge for a week. The service was also very slow and counter staff acted as if they were doing me a huge favor by taking my order. I strongly recommend choosing the Nandos in centre place instead as the food and service are consistently better there.
We've been going to nandos for years and I can honestly say we've watched it slowly get dirtier and the service has slipped dramatically. Clean your tables promptly instead of standing around talking. Maybe you could clean your air con units. They look like they havnt been cleaned in years. As for the toilets, absolutely gross. The food is always nice although quite often brought out separately leaving one of us still waiting while the other has finished their meal..put some money back into your business, teach your staff how to do a better job.
Absolutely love it. The kai is delicious, the vibe is chill and the service was amazing. You can scan the QR code and order from your table. Loved the paintings of the beautiful african woman.Food: 5/5
I ordered 1/2 chicken with a side of Peri Peri chips. The chicken was served cut up into 4 pieces and the size was more like a 5 week old baby chick instead of a chicken, so I was not impressed. My fork looked huge next to the piece that was supposed to be the chicken breast. The chips...all the spice was thrown on the top, which made the chips taste bitter, so I couldn't finish these. At $14.50 for half a chicken you'll be better off going to Countdown across the road and buy a fully cooked chicken for $10-$13 and a bottle of Nandos sauce off the shelves. It will taste just as good if not better and you'll get a lot more meat for your dollar. Very disappointed and won't be going back there.
Me and my friends had a really good time at Nandos. The food was good and I really liked the Halloumi burger. Thanks to Aniston for helping us with the menu. Parking: There is plenty of free parking at the Base . Depending on the day and time of your visit you may have to park your car far from Nandos. We went on a Sunday evening and a lot of parking was available close to the restaurant.
This is a solid Nandos location. Nice fresh hot food. This location uses QR code order to your table. This location was unable to server beer at 1pm despite heavily advertising it in the venue.Food: 5/5
Staff were really nice and helpful. Food was good, definitely a better option while shopping at The BaseFood: 5/5
