This place truly made us feel like we were in Thailand. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Portions are perfect for one person, especially if you’re very hungry! We finished with a dessert we loved from the very first bite. Highly recommended!
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Love the family vibe with a well groomed attentive young family member serving customers with enthusiasm and professionalism. Clean facilities. It is a very wide restaurant with plenty of tables and seats in either side of the entrance. Very fast service.nWe had the ginger beef and Penang curry chicken. You can get rice top up.
Place was super busy but the staff did well to place orders. Food came out fast enough.nnUnfortunately the duck red curry was disappointing. Very watery and lacked flavour besides a little chilli kick. No lemon grass, sugar, basil, fish sauce flavour and barely any coconut cream. Very disappointing sauce.nnThe pad Thai however was exceptional. Not too greasy and the portions were huge.nnWill go back this weekend and retry the red curry. Hopefully it was just an off day.
Nakontong Thai Restaurant i rate top in Thames. Have enjoyed many fabulous meals here whenever in Pollen St. Thames. It's open & can get takeaway Thai food every night.nI enjoyed Spring Rolls entree. Sweet & sour Pork Main. With Banana Sticky Rice for Dessert. All yummy nThe 10 staff run Restaurant like clockwork. Friendly, courteous & efficient. The atmosphere here is authentic Thai. Service, Respect with a sweet smile. I shall return in future & recommend it to others.
What an absolute stunning restaurant. As soon as you walk in you're immersed in Tahiland culture. Lovely greetings from staff, tables all set to perfection. Its clean and tidy, air con keeping it nice and cool. The food came out so fast and was very well presented, nice and hot and tasted amazing. I wanted to lick my plate clean! I will be back!
