I really wanted to like this place and make it my new regular butcher given they’re additive free/no nasties. I placed a large order over $200 comprising of various meats and sausages and would expect being a butcher, everything would arrive fresh. Instead I got frozen sausages, some even with expired dates, frozen chicken thighs with dates and weights ripped off but could see one pack was from March and everything arrived thawed out meaning I had to bin some of it. The only thing guaranteed safe was the lamb shoulder which appeared to be fresh. I rang to share my disappointment and although Garth was nice there was no resolution, not even offering to replace this +$200 order. On that basis I won’t be using them again.
Great service by Courtney and team. Dropped Venison off and got back in a day or two! They even shipped Gisborne. Highly recommended for Butchery service in the Tauranga/ Bay of Plenty area. Will be passing feedback onto friends and family! Cheers guys!
I have been shopping here for 10 years and tell everyone about the pork sausages. But... we got a 28 dollar pack on the 20th of April and they were average at best. Tough and gristle which we have never experienced before. Very disappointing

Disappointed with the customer service. Received an order 20 hours after it was picked up instore. When I opened the box all contents, including the melted icepack were room temperature. As apart of my order was pork I was very concerned about eating it as there was no way to tell at what temperature the package was stored for the 20 hours. I contacted Naked Meats and the response was disappointing. Was told if it was pork "I wouldn't trust it" but it was out of their control. I asked for advice as obviously I have now got meat I can't eat. Was told "might be lucky no bone your nose will tell you" at this point I was astonished how unprofessional this was for a butcher who prides themselves on their quality. To have a customer who has been delivered meat that cannot be eaten and to show no sympathy, or take any responsibility and to tell me to pretty much try and see how I go in regards to food safety just isn't good enough. Will not be using them again
This is one butcher I can trust not to have any strange additions like MSG, my family reacts to MSG, and other chemicals, so unable to buy corned beef and sausages. But can buy those here. Also I like their black pudding more than any other butcher.
Great meat as it should be! Love the Hungarian and Moroccan sausages. Not the flavorless sausage with half wheat and other disgusting stuff in it.
Got my box this am. Beautifully packed and each meat labelled and vacuumed packed and with ice blocks. Thanks naked meats.
