I went there by reading some good reviews online but definitely will not go back. Its not a clean place. I had shellac and my nails have brush lines visible all over, they are not good looking at all. They also caused my finger bleed when removing the shellac and I’m scared as they were not using cleaned, sanitized tools :/
I booked online for a shellac manicure and it said its £32. Once I arrived I asked how much it would be if I would get a tip on one nail and they said £37. I changed my mind about the tip later and only got the shellac. Once its all done, I go to pay and she says its £37 because they also had to take off my shellac. I have been doing my nails for over 10 years, not once has a nail salon charged me for taking off shellac. Absolutely ridiculous. On top of this a 40 minute appointment Which they advertised took 1 hour and 15 mins because they overbooked themselves. No waiting area for people that have booked. Do not waste your money here!!! Much better places out there!
I have been coming to Eighty Eight for almost 4 years. They consistently offer great services at great prices with a friendly smile. Danny, Mary and Lam are fantastic! I don’t trust anyone else with my nails. Looking forward to their new renovated salon coming to the area soon!Services: Dip powder
What a shame :/ Ive been here twice before and both times I liked the nails I got done. This time by a lady Ive never seen before. She seemed a bit arrogant, didnt ask what I want exactly, when I asked to make my nail a bit thinner width wise, she spoke something to her colleages and nothing to me. Overall, I really dislike the nails, I asked for a rounded square shape and she made my nails look like bricks and they are not even. Disappointing. Wont come back again probably.
Booked for shellac pedicure and classic manicure. They forgot what I had asked for until I reminded them. Ended up having both done at the same time by two people which was awkward and uncomfortable position wise as I had to twist my top to one side for the person doing hands but keep my feet at the right angle for the pedicure. Would probably not go again.
My nails started to chip after a week acrylic and theu charged me 10£ for a 5-10 minutes fix. Not cool and the lost a long term clientServices: Pedicure

Worse pedicure ever. Super rushed, I have to keep telling and showing the guy who was doing my pedicure the dead skin that’s still on my feet. I only came here as it’s close to my home but never again. Waste of money.Service: Pedicure
It’s been a few years now and This is my favorite place and Mary my favorite person. Every time I try to change for somewhere cheaper I always regret. She never disappoints me.Services: Dip powder
They are so good! I’ve been here 4 times already and their mani and pedis are so good. The service is fantastic. The space clean. The products really good.
