We started of with two starters to share: one plate of spring rolls and one plate with an assortiment of Thai snacks. Both were pleasantly tasteful and nicely presented. We continued with a chicken pad Thai definitely worth trying! And one of the suggestions of the day: Chicken red curry. The red curry was served in a pumpkin Halloween and contained some parts of pumpkin too. That was a first for me and I would definitely recommend it! The pumpkin fittet perfectly with the traditional cashew nuts and bell pepper. But the highlight of the dinner was without question the dessert! As I'm writing this review one day later, I still get carried away when thinking about the warm jasmin pie served with artisanal vanilla ice cream. A true masterpiece and example of how combining the right flavours, textures and way of serving can lift a rather simple dish to star-restaurant levels. Compliments to the chef! This dessert alone is already reason enough to visit My-Taï. Not exaggerating All in all we had a nice evening and each consecutive course lifted the experience to an even higher culinary level then the one before. And this for a modest 33eur per person Other info: Easy to park your car, very friendly staff special compliments to Alice and they have both Singha and Chang beer.
The food is nice and tasty, the staff is just the best. It was quiet loud, but id love to visit againFood: 4/5
Excellent food, excellent service. The Pad Thai is really good. My favorite dishes are however the ones with green curry. There are always some suggestions so you can try something new. Yesterday we tried mochi - what a delight! Vegetarian options: Quite a few tasty vegetarian dishes available - based on rice ir noodles and vegetables Kid-friendliness: Our kids live this restaurant. When they were smaller the rice with chicken and vegetables was always a safe choice. Now our 10 years old moved to sour-sweet dishes. Parking: Large parking just in front of the restaurant if full, there's a Delhaize with a huge parking very close by
The best restaurant in town. Super recommend. All staffs are professional and gentle. We took more than 4 different main courses and the flavor was fab.. Don’t miss it if you are in town!
Worst customer service ever! We arrive at 7 pm and shortly after ordered two appetizers and a main course for the kids. We asked for a few more minutes to decide for our main courses. So we did and soon after the appetizers and main course for kids arrived. It was very nice. Then we waited…they cleared the table and asked if we needed anything else. We said we were still expecting for 2 courses. We waited, and waited, and waited. Clearly they forgot to enter the course or something went wrong there. We saw people coming in, eating and being done and we were still waiting. We asked for updates. No one came to apologize or to give us an update. So we decided to leave.kids were tired and so were we.The owner was very rude “ its not a fast food” …was his comment.no apologies, nothing was done to make up for the situation. Cleary they do not value their customers. What a pity!
Nice thai restaurant, good food and real Thai Cook's in the kitchen. The restaurant is at this location for more than 22 years
An institution in its own right. I have visited so many times and it always ticks the boxes. Perfect for a lunch with friends or colleagues. Excellent service and excellent price to quality ratio. In over 8 years, I have never been disappointed.
We have been clients here for more than 15 years, however yesterday is the last time we'll visit. The dishes have gone down in quality considerably. So much so that buying curry paste at a random store and combining it with coconut milk yields the same taste, add in some minuscule bits of not even thai eggplant and you have successfully recreated their dish. Thai basil beef without thai basil but just regular basil? Who are you guys kidding here?
Always a nice place to go to for a quick lunch or in the evening for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The menu has more than enough variety, the taste is delicious and the staff is very friendly. For me one of the better Thai restaurants in the area
Best childhood restaurant of all time, and the food was amazing too. Warning: this review only updated to around the year 2003. Tough luck modern people
