My partner and I have been to fish and chips stores all over New Zealand and we did not expect to find the best one here in Akaroa. Freshly caught fish, cooked to perfection, reasonable prices and generous portions! Recommended if you're in Akaroa
We got our fish n' chips out in the wharf which is part of Murphy's too. The fish were amazingly cooked and the chips were great! A must try

Amazing fish and chips! Huge portions and the quality was excellent. They catch their own fish and only serve it fresh never frozen. Chips are fried to perfection. This place is excellent.
A very busy little fish and chip shop with a rustic outdoor seating area. Pricing here is quite high, especially compared to city pricing. The burgers are the best value items on the menu and incredibly filling. Your looking at about $10-$15 for a burger. And $16 for Akaroa Salmon
Amazing food here, massive pieces of fish, nice crisp batter that wasn't at all stodgy.
