Mum Bod is all about empowering Mums through education, community and movement.
I am passionate about pregnancy, birth and how truly amazing the female body is. My mission is to share my experience and love of birth with others in hope of empowering as many women as I can. I am so grateful for the women that came before me that helped me see how powerful my body was and continue to learn so much from every new woman I meet.
I birthed my baby on a rainy October night, at home with my husband, dog and two midwives, after 9 hours of calm labour and a beautiful water birth. That night I lay there in awe of how powerful my body was and vowed to myself help other women have the same positive experience I did.
I spent the 11 months following my baby's birth designing an 8 week pregnancy exercise and education course that encapsulates all the things I feel helped to contribute to James’s amazing birth.
