A friend introduced me to Mugen Sushi today. Absolutely the most amazing, and delicious sushi I have ever had in Christchurch. Highly recommend. Allow lots of time to decide what to have as it’s all so tempting! Kid-friendliness: Quite a few children there today

Incredible quality of food. Always visit when I am back in town. However a little confused on what the workers do except count the pieces & quote the price at the end of the customers' picking..? The tables are seldom wiped, & the sauces are all self-service. This confusion is there every time we visit, however it is also always quickly forgotten upon the tasting of the first sushi.
Very fresh salmon which was delicious, especially the seared salmon with mayo! Great pick your own system where you get a plate and put on as many sushi as you like, and pay at the end. All sushi looked fresh and creative.Food: 5/5
My son's favorite sushi shop. Good range of sushi, fresh and yummy. My 5years old had 8 pieces of sushi plus 4 little cups of tuna sashimi either hes a very big eater or the food is super yummy

Always love a visit to Mugen. It's great to be able to bring your own container and pick your own sushi, a great way to avoid all the plastic waste. If you do decide to take away, the containers are compostable. The service is always good and the restaurant is always spotless. Thank you so much for providing waste free sushi, Mugen! If it wasn't for you, we'd never eat it.
Usually when I go out for lunch, I don't bother calculating how much I need to pay. I just order what I want, and pay the bill. However, today when I bought a take-away sushi, I had to request a recalculation, as I was worried that you might charge me an amount over $45 for this item alone. True and honesty is the best way for business
