Mudpuppy is a locally owned and operated Dunedin business.
We offer a range of pet services including Pet Grooming, Doggy Daycare, Self Service Dog Wash, Nail Clipping and more! We also stock a great range of toys, treats, fresh and frozen pet food, natural remedies, grooming equipment, dog rolls and heaps more. We have a range of premium dry pet food, such as Orijen, Nutro, Now & Go! and Black Hawk. We care for your pet as if it were our own, so come in and talk to one of our friendly staff!

This store is on my weekly must visit for all my pet needs. So many treats to choose from it's like a wee candy store. We can't get food for all our pets in the one place. They also have a huge variety of toys as well as very affordable prices.

Good clip. Nice staff. Great that they give the first puppy cut for free. I would have liked to be able to be present for his first cut. They take the dogs out the back to clip them and don't let owners back there.
I am so happy Mudpuppy exists. I can leave my dog there and know that they will meet his needs. Grooming is fantastic! Carla is such a kind and sensitive groomer and my k9 adores her.

We won't be back to Mudpuppy I'm afraid. Being our local groomers we decided to bring our cockapoo there, based on good reviews seen online. Unfortunately our dog was shaved closely to the skin despite of clear requests for leaving his coat longer. The dog looks terrible now and it will take months to grow his coat back.
Cant speak highly enough of the staff and groomers. They go the extra mile for you and my wee girl always looks gorgeous after her groom. Reasonably priced too. They also have all the treats and toys you could want for your fur babies
Picked up a friend's dogs after grooming. They looked really good. Staff were very friendly and professional
