We were satisfied After a long drive we decided to Stopover at Urenui. I was planning to get a drink but my children were hungry. So we stumbled upon the Mud Bay Cafe. We were there in the afternoon, only a staff at the counter and Taiwanese chef. There weren't a lot of customers then and we were really enjoying the ambience of a country cafe in small town. We ordered some drinks and food and they were all great. However, when we got our bills, I realize that the price are a little steep. Well, I just have remind myself that I'm in NZ. Hehehe
Lovely coffee with friendly service. Can also recommend their big breakfast with home made potato cake, pancake stack, eggs benedict and pumpkin feta quiche.
Lovely Cafè all beautifuI wood interior. I asked for tea in a take away cup and got it in a glass, the glass stayed hot for so long and I burnt my lips. A small thing really I admit, service was a little slow considering it wasn't busy, but only 2 staff on, but should have managed ok. Staff very courteous tho. Cabinet food looked very yummy. Toilets were very clean and tidy.
I just stopped to grab a take-away coffee but I loved it. The atmosphere was super nice and the staff so friendly. The interior of the place looked beautiful. I definitely recommend to stop there and have a nice, relaxed coffee in a great atmosphere.Service: 5/5

Absolutely fantastic Cafe! We were driving up north and came across this cafe. The food and drinks were fantastic. Well priced- good value for money. They have beautiful interior with stunning gardens and a deck out the front and back. Parking: Plenty of free parking on the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to the cafe. Perfect for wheelchair accessibility

Absolutely fantastic food, burger was to die for. Chips were both fluffy and crispy with amazing seasonings. Customer service was flawless. Decor was very unique and appealing. Even the seats were comfy. Would highly recommend to all.
We came here on our way home for morning tea. We all loved our coffee even if it was slow and it would appear that all the locals who got takeaways and came in after us were served first. The food came out quick and our son inhaled the scone. Sadly it came out at least 10-15 min prior to our coffee so our sausage roll was Luke warm by the time we ate it while still waiting on coffee.
Best Eggs Benedict ever salmon and spinach. Plus, they serve L'Affare coffee! Best coffee ever!Food: 5/5
