We stayed here once lockdown regulations had lifted and Kath could not have been more hospitable. The views of the surrounding mountains were lovely, a parking space was waiting for us outside our room and the heater had been turned on before our arrival. The room was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Large comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and shower, perfectly concise kitchen with a cute jug of fresh milk left for us in the fridge. Kath made sure we were comfortable and settled in, and also allowed us time to get organised once it was time for us continue on our trip.
Owners are fantastic, rooms well kept and modern. YES there is heating. Owners always made sure the room was warm and ready after a day out adventuring. YES there is a laundry. Only downside is the dryer costs $4 a cycle and it takes a few cycles to dry things.
Kath and Trevor are excellent hosts. I felt at home instantly in the casual and relaxed atmosphere they have created. The delightful flower beds added colour and fragrance as a bonus.
Very kind and helpful owners ... spacious, lovely room recently renovated - complete with heat pump and kitchen. This is a warm, inviting, wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!
