The only self-service laundry in Mapua with 3 washers and 2 dryers. Cost 2x2 dollar coins to wash takes 1/2 hour, 2x2 dollar coins to dry takes 36 mins. Must bring own washing powder/detergent and 2 dollar coins as no facility provided here.
Around Mapua probably the only laundry you can find. To use the washing machine COLD WATER only, but it supposed be warm or hot, as the picture says on it you must pay 4$, same for the dryer. 36 minutes both of their running time, but our clothes came out still wet after we used the dryer.
Handy to have a laundry here. Machines are a bit old-fashioned and the clothes did not come out very clean... still better than nothing I guess! Nice to go to Mapua Country Store nearby while the wait, or Java Hut Cafe a bit further.
I use the drier here. Very big and powerful Maytag. Does a great job for $4 a load.
Put two loads of washing in when it is finished and I pulled the washing out the laundry powder was scattered throughout the washing and that was after pushing the laundry powder at the bottom so it could dissolve
Always open and no trouble finding a vacant washer or dryer.
Good to know it's there...
