The fish and chips were some of the best we've had. My parents would often travel from Levin to Foxton just for Mr Grumpys fish and chips and go eat them in the carpark at the surfclub. We are continuing their tradition
Absolutely wonderful customer service and beautiful people here.nFish n chips was delicious and generous portions with both buts and chips. It was absolutely flat out when we went over the long weekend and the wait time was really reasonable. Would certainly return!

Burgers are next level yummy, and salads are super fresh. Kumura chips are some of the best I've ever had. Definitely worth stopping in on your way to or from the beach fantastic fish and chips shop!
We were recommended the place by our accommodation. We got 2 burgers, fries, and 2 drinks for $35. Everything was on point. Definitely a place to try if you're ever in Foxton. A+++
