Great fish and chips after a long day of fishing at the lagoon. A variety of food on the menu and service was quick. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the sun but kids would love the inside. We ordered the cod, fish and some sausages and also the delicious Foxton Fizz drinks.
The fish and chips were some of the best we've had. My parents would often travel from Levin to Foxton just for Mr Grumpys fish and chips and go eat them in the carpark at the surfclub. We are continuing their tradition
Absolutely wonderful customer service and beautiful people here.nFish n chips was delicious and generous portions with both buts and chips. It was absolutely flat out when we went over the long weekend and the wait time was really reasonable. Would certainly return!
One of the best fish & chip shops in the lower north island. Bought some crumbed and some battered tarakihi, some kumara chips, some tartare sauce, and one of the puddings. The fish was good, the kumara chips and tartare sauce were really good, and the pudding was surprisingly good as well.nGreat staff too. I highly recommend this place.
Ordered all types from the menu for 8 people! Was ready quick and was really well priced! Burgers were amazing and large in size! Chips and curry sauce was up there with classic English! Yum Mr Grumpys
