We manufacture blinds for both the domestic and commercial market in NZ. We are proudly kiwi owned and operated and you are buying directly from us….the manufacturer. The blinds we sell are made by our own dedicated staff precisely to your measurements and with stringent quality control and attention to detail, so they fit your windows and doors perfectly. There are no middle men, enabling us to produce our blinds without additional overheads. We pass these savings directly on to you, allowing us to focus on what really matters - quality, service and value for money.
The Mr Blinds range includes thermal blinds, block-out roller blinds, sunscreen roller blinds, synthetic wood venetian, wooden venetian, aluminium venetian and vertical blinds. Sunscreen Roller Blinds

Sunscreen roller blinds significantly reduce the sun's glare whilst still allowing light to filter through. The fabric has an open weave design that allows a view out whilst still providing privacy during the day.
New Zealand has high levels of ultraviolet light which can cause severe damage to your room furniture, flooring and curtains. Our sunscreen roller blinds provide 97% protection against these rays which will prevent fading and breakdown of fabric. They are ideal for use in north facing rooms , offices and home studies as they help cut reflections on computer screens.

Block-out Roller Blinds

The specifically engineered materials in block-out blinds prevent light from entering any room where strong sunlight is present. Block-out roller blinds provide heat insulation, create total privacy and block the sunlight. They are ideal for bedrooms, or home cinemas where total light control is needed, and are mould and fade resistant.

Thermal Blinds

Fashion and function combine with our thermal range of blinds. These top quality, luxurious textured fabrics, with two tone effect provide a striking, modern finish while the thermal lining will keep you warm, shaded, cut down on draughts and help reduce your energy bills.

Our colour range includes lovely organic hues with a colour coordinated foamed backing, which ensures colour continuity from the outside of the house as well.

The thermal block-out coating provides superior light blocking properties and are PVC free.

Vertical Blinds

Vertical blinds are prefect for bi-fold doors and tight clearance situations. They compact quickly and neatly to give minimum obstruction and maximum view. Vertical blinds are a simple and cost effective way to dress your window and to provide privacy and sun protection. When drawn our fabric is 100% opaque which allow you to control how much light/heat enters the room. All our vertical blinds include 100mm fabric slats, a heavy duty headrail and an option of a valence strip – this is a swatch of fabric inserted into the headrail. Vertical blinds are available in many colours and are ideal for rented homes.

Wood Venetian Blinds

Warm and rich in both casual or more formal rooms, wood venetians provide excellent control of light and are well suited to a diverse range of environments and interior styles. Wood venetian blinds naturally provide a sense of warmth and can also help to soften harsh room acoustics.
Our wood venetians are available in 50mm slats and are made with a heavy duty head rail and top quality components. …..( made from sustainable basswood which is grown specifically for this purpose and is not endangered. The wood slats are kiln dried and stabilised before the paint process to ensure they will not warp. The paint has a UV protective layer applied to it to ensure the colour will not fade.)

Synthetic Wood Venetian

Synthetic wood venetian blinds are the practical affordable alternative to timber venetians. This blind has the look of white painted wood and will be a welcome addition at any window. Made of a synthetic polymer and sometimes known as Fauxwood, or PVC blinds they are resistant to UV damage, moisture and mildew. They will not crack, peel, discolour or warp.

They are ideal for areas high in heat and moisture such as bathrooms, laundries and kitchens.
