Most likely the best pub IMO in the South Island - great staff, magic location, tasty food and an absolutely epic fresh beer selection and the wines are all from within 10 k's too. Some things just can't be replicated - wish I lived in the paddocks nearby ;-
This is such a classic pub! We got our fav beer here a while ago: Castles Milk Stout, worth a try! Beautiful location, especially after a day out hike etc. good grub, homely space. Worth a visit.
It's been our local pub for over 16 years and we ALWAYS have such a good time. This past Wednesday we treated our 11yo Grandson to the Wednesday nite steak special to celebrate the end of the school holidays and the start of middle school. In his words....This dinner is REALLY Good!
Stayed for a night freedom camping on the car park. We had the steak night deal with a bottle of wine. Food was tip top pop pop pop.nnRecommended
Locals and very good craft beers !!nFries and polenta fries were delicious.nWe slept in our van on the parking, thanks for this opportunity.
