Cutest little hostel right in the town center. Although this hasn't been the fanciest hostel I've stayed in, it is very homey and cozy and gives you everything you need. I loved the outdoor area, I'm all about fairy lights, and the owners were so lovely! Would definitely come back.Rooms: 5/5
This is a fun, quirky place to stay with lots of nooks and crannies. It has 3 kitchens, a variety of lounge areas and a lovely covered decking across the top with views through to the seafront. The owners are friendly and it is well located with just a 10min walk along the beachfront into town.
My stay was excellent! It's a beautiful hostel in the best location. It's across the street from a couple pubs and a convenience store. About a 5 minute walk to the center of town. The hostel is really clean, the owner and receptionist are amazing! Definitely coming back as soon as I can
This place was delightful. Nice and quiet compared to the other places. It's not a dry hostel, so there is the chance to drink on the property if you desire, but during my time here, all the partying backpackers were in the hostels across the street. And i love that i was able to escape them here. It's a beautiful and cozy place to stay, and i highly recommend it.
A fantastic place, with bags of charm. Nice, homely feel, and perfectly placed. Staff are welcoming and friendly, and it’s nice and clean. The view from the balcony is amazing, you could easily spend hours there. A must visit, if in the area or not!Rooms: 5/5
My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights in a private double it wasn't much more than two dorm beds! and had a fantastic stay. There are two cosy lounges with a wood burning fire which they light every night in winter. Kitchens are well equipped and everything was really clean. Location is great - only five minutes walk from the bus stop, ferry/tour boat pier and a small Countdown. The whole place had a really homey, welcoming feel and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thoroughly recommend.
Very friendly, quiet and clean backpacker ! Great house with plenty of little kitchens and living rooms, perfect to have a drink outside lounge : and good night of sleep. Our host was very friendly, and he rules this house smoothly but very efficiently :
Real nice place; room, bed and facilities were all real clean. Real nice common areas, good for meeting other people. Good location, easy walk to beach, trails, bus and ferry. Good value for the money that I paid for it. I would stay here again and I recommend it for other travelers.
The best thing about this hostel is that the layout and common spaces mean it's easy to meet people. It's very lived-in but it's got a lot of character. Loved eating on the balcony with a sea view.
I just stayed here for one night, but I think this is a decent hostel. Dorms have huge lockers where you can fit your whole backpack in. The kitchen has some nice sitting areas. Free Wifi is limited to 500 MB a day. Walking distance to the beach and everything important in Paihia.
