We had a very delicious meal here. Lambs fry and bacon was Devine. Fish of the day just perfect.
Major reorganization needed in the kitchen, half the menu unavailable with questionable quality.nWould have to improve massively to see our return!
Ordered fish & chips $20. Ok with the price but a heap of chips and one battered fish. When eating I noticed there were two bits of fish together and battered and OVERCOOKED. My friend ordered the same and received two nice battered fish and chips. I went back to the pick up point only to be told the fish is sold by weight so that’s why I received one piece. So I end up with a piece of fish that included part of another fillet no doubt to make the weight.nnNo discussion that’s what it is was the impression.nnI looked at other fish & chip plates around the club all had two battered fillets that I could see anyway.nnThis is the second bad dinning experience in a row. Never again thats it for me.
We recently visited Mt Maunganui as part of Taradale RSA Concert Party.nWe were made to feel very welcome by members of the committee and management .nWe all enjoyed lovely meals and a few drinks.nThe crowd really enjoyed our show and thanks to all the extra donations.nWe would recommend Mt Maunganui RSA to all.nWe also received a standing ovation at the end of our show.nThanks to everyone.
The food and the price here is fantastic. The chef did a great job and was lovely. The waitress who took our order though does need more training I think - as much as she was lovely there was many things that she didn’t know. At one point she expected me to go and ask the chef what size the steak was?? I did kindly remind her that she worked there and not me - in which she realised and went to find out. Over all the service could have been way better - they were too busy to only have 2 people serving.
