But loud at times, but good if you want a quick read or charge up of the devices!
The library is incredibly loud; everyone is yelling, including the staff, and no one is taking any action to fix it.nMoreover, there are very few tables available for studying or reading.nnThe good thing is, the staff is friendly, and there’s air conditioning.
Visited at 4.47pm today the 13th Dec 2023 to change books for a disabled person who's enjoyment comes from library books .. library all locked up. Another rate payer also disappointed.
This library is 3 times smaller than in the city centre and because of this reason I could hear children yelling loudly all the time. It closes half an hour earlier than in the centre and the old woman who works there was not friendly, neither assertive and she was not speaking politely.
An Awesome Library to visit. Friendly, Knowledgeable, Staff. Always 'willing to help or advise You' to whether you are enquiring to order another book by the same Author that is not in their Library. Suggestions by other Authors as well. A Fantastically well laid Library and easy to find different books whether Ficton, non-fiction, biographies, or books that are a 'New Release,' Charge of $3. Every other book is Free. Computers for Use. Awesome Childrens' Department and Books. All in All an Awesome Experience visiting the Mt Maunganui Library.
