Mean as fish and chips, and the Chinese dishes are choice too. Fish was fresh with crispy batter, chips were golden and generous. The sweet and sour pork was spot on and the lemon chicken was unreal — crispy, saucy, and full of flavour. Good value, friendly service, and always consistent.
We came here for lunch yesterday around 11:30 from a long drive, and it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the start, communication with the staff was a mess. It wasn’t just me — all of us at the table had to repeat our orders several times because they simply weren’t getting it.nnI personally ordered chicken curry on rice. I pointed to it on the menu, said it clearly multiple times, and even corrected the staff when they repeated back “foo yang” to me. He gave me a thumbs up like he understood — but when the food came, it was still foo yang.nnTo make it worse, the foo yang was overly salty and not worth what they charge. And despite advertising rice dishes, they weren’t even serving rice during lunch. We were left eating viands on their own, which felt incomplete and disappointing. The atmosphere didn’t help either — staff were audibly yelling at each other in the background, making it uncomfortable to even sit there.nnWe walked out still hungry and ended up having to eat lunch again later in the afternoon. For the price and overall experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — save your time and money.
A small local restaurant in town. People often get disappointed due to the language barrier since there's only one or two staffs that speak English. However, the food is really good. My top 3 to go menus rated from the best are: Combination Fried Rice with cashew, Bakmi Goreng Fried Noodles, and lastly Dumplings Soup. Honorary mention is the sweet and sour chicken.
It’s the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten.nWe went to this takeaway yesterday evening, and we ordered five dishes. One of them doesn’t include any rice and the staff didn’t mention to us. When we got the food we realized that and asked. The answer was that the one we ordered doesn’t include any rice. We had to pay for an extra rice. But the rice in each dish was not enough, so my husband went to order an another extra rice. My husband corrected them multiple times by Cantonese and Mandarin which they all can understand, but still provided him ten extra rice and charged $20! Even though they refunded us $18, we still felt uncomfortable. It was very ridiculousAll the food was very salty and tastes very bad! I hope everyone who is googling this takeaway can change your mind. You can go to other places or even just go to Four Square and buy some instant noodles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE SHOP!
Great takeaway! The food is fresh, generous portions, and full of flavour. The fish and chips are especially good — perfectly cooked with a lovely crunchy batter and crisp chips. Service is friendly and quick, even when they are busy, and it’s consistently reliable every time. Easily one of the best takeaway options in town — highly recommended!
