Just here for 1 night. The pool is the highlight! The pool was super clean and oh so warm!! 26'. Huge playground and grass area for kids to run around.nnKitchens, showers and bathrooms placed strategically around the campsite.nnLana was super helpful as we had to move as the grass was so long when they cut it, there was grass clippings all over the place. Annoying in our camper and all over the floors in the bathrooms and kitchen.nnThe BBQs need to have the grease cleaned out and we're very dirty and could easily catch on fire. Had it happen at home to us, so always look for that. In the main kitchen outside, they have a huge tarp covering the BBQs, so you don't get wet, that was full of water with a small hole with water leaking out of it. Worried the entire thing would cave with the weight of the water on us.nnThe inside area was pretty tidy but the outside tables were very dirty and needed a good wipe.nnThe air fryer was so dirty and gross it made my friend gag. There is NO way someone could use that.
Super friendly staff, and a great place to stay for holidays.nCame through for two nights, room was comfy, warm, and the bed was great.nStaying in a cabin without a bathroom we only had a short walk to the shower block, which was warm and well maintainednDefinitely be coming back to stay in future trips
The place itself was very nice and clean. We arrived with on pushbikes with a very small tent. The price online for a small non powered site was the same as a powered site for a campervan which is so far the most expensive campground we ever stayed at, but we accepted that. Phoned in the morning for availability and had the price confirmed. By the time we arrived in the evening the price had gone up due to ‚dynamic pricing‘ because the park was now “really busy” with 40 of the 180 sites taken. The kitchen had no microwave either which we were told it had. The young British couple was lovely to deal with on check in but over all a bit disappointing.
We had the best time – even though it rained the whole time! The kids were flat out having fun riding bikes through puddles, enjoying the heated pool, soaking in the spa, watching movies, colouring in, and spending hours in the games room.nnWe stayed in cabins with a few families and made full use of the big indoor spaces to hang out, eat, and keep the kids entertained.nnThe staff were super friendly and fantastic helping with everything we needed for our stay!nnWould 100% recommend – rain didn’t ruin a thing. Such an easy, fun spot for a family getaway!
Washing machines are old and a waste of money. Put an average amount of clothing in and the water didn’t rinse. Should’ve just waited til I got home. Please replace the machines.nCleaner could’ve mopped the small bit of floor at the front of the cabin where mud is tracked inside.
