Privately owned we are at 138 St John Street, close to the Dunes Trails. We have an extensive range of bikes for hire and also provide a shuttle service to Matawai, Motu Village, Pakihi Track and the Rere Trail. Our facilities are for the use of our paying clients. Motu Trails is a fantastic operator, well maintained vans and purpose built trailer. We made a last minute booking and Motu trails were happy to accommodate us. We had a fantastic time and Johns knowledge of the trails was really helpful.

I rented a bike here, didn't stay in accommodation. Ngaio, who helped me organise my trip over MOTU trails, was wonderful: very friendly and helpful.
We've ridden the Dunes Trail section only, a 10 klm section that follows the coast eastwards from Opotkiki. The track is gravel with some wooden boardwalk sections and a very easy ride gently undulating through the dunes. Buy an icecream from the store at the eastern end through the camp ground. Very generous.
Absolutely lovely owners. We had a bonfire most of the nights and the rooms are good too.
Ngaio was friendly and very helpful. We got a tandem from other storage.
Perfect accommodation.. You can sleep in a bedroom, in a tent or in your van... Good facilities and Wi-Fi
