My daughter and I recently lost a father and husband. As those of you who have lost a loved one know too well., the days following are a haze of heightened emotions and thinking clearly is not top of the list. It's a time when you need a compassionate funeral director - something we did NOT receive from the representative we approached from Morris and Morris. Quite the opposite, we were treated coolly and it was made clear to us that they were busy plus as it was a saturday staffing was limited. We weren't in a good emotional state. We agreed to a date and time for a simple service to be held at the Crematorium, which was confirmed by them. However we were not happy with the treatment received, so we sought another funeral director's advice and decided to go with them. Consider that the date and time for the service had been booked and confirmed. We mentioned this to the new director. Details were sorted. The funeral director decided to double check the confirmed date and time only to find that it had been cancelled and the time already filled with another client by M and M. That - when we had confirmed with friends / family who needed to come a distance.nThe resulting unpleasant, confrontational interaction with M and M left a very bitter taste, considering the stress we were going through.nFrankly I would never recommend M and M after having been treated this way.
We recently lost our beautiful mum. Aaron Gray from Morris and Morris was kind, compassionate and caring in his guidance through this sad time. Thank you Aaron and the team at Morris and Morris.
AVOIDnBE VERY WEARYnOur experience with Morris and Morris has been absolutely horrible. We felt totally devastated by their complete lack of professionalism.nThey will share your private information including phone number with 3rd party organizations without permission or consent. They attempt to financially shaft you at every opportunity.nThey do not follow directions of family and do not care that they created more heartache and confusion at what was already an extremely devastating time.nIm trying to be polite, but I advise you, don't involve these vultures with the care of of your loved ones, best go elsewhere...
David and the team at Morris and Morris were extremely helpful and caring recently when arranging our son's funeral. Nothing we asked for was too much. Thanks for making it so memorable and special for us.
